8 Days Adventure from Marrakech to the Desert and Atlantic Coast

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel or riad. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city at your leisure. Visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, wander through the bustling souks, or relax in a local café. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Benhaddou

Depart from Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs. Continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel.

Day 3: Dades Valley to Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

After breakfast, journey through the Todra Gorge, renowned for its towering cliffs and lush riverbed. Continue to Merzouga, where the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes await. Experience a camel trek into the desert to witness a stunning sunset over the sands. Enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under a star-filled sky.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi to Ouarzazate

Rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga and travel back through the scenic landscapes of the Draa Valley. Stop for lunch in a local Berber village before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the Taourirt Kasbah before checking into your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Ouarzazate to Essaouira

Depart early for the coastal town of Essaouira, driving through the Souss Valley and passing by argan tree forests. Along the way, visit an argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional production of this prized oil. Arrive in Essaouira and enjoy the afternoon exploring its historic medina, fortified walls, and beautiful beach. Overnight in a local riad.

Day 6: Essaouira Exploration

Spend a full day soaking in the charm of Essaouira. Stroll along the harbor, where colorful fishing boats line the docks, or wander through the narrow alleys of the medina filled with artisan shops. Enjoy fresh seafood by the seaside and take in the relaxed atmosphere of this coastal gem. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 7: Essaouira to Marrakech

After breakfast, journey back to Marrakech. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant souks or savoring Moroccan cuisine in a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
